  I enjoyed most of it particularilly that the new testament was chosen by the catholic church. I did not know that before. I told some JW's that and they said it was not true. I just said do the research for yourself. stuck in

  this guy goes to a hall in gastonia nc....i believe the south hall, it has split into four congregations now but back in the day he went to the south.

  what was the worst meeting you ever attended ?

  here's mine :.

  back in the early 90's we went to the sunday talk and wt study.. lo and behold, a friend from the 70's who was df'ed ( he had just been reinstated) was there along with his parents.

  i had no idea that they would have been there.. one of my kids was getting sick, so my wife and i were up-down the entire meeting walking him around.

  Every last F n one of them! Really though there were a lot that I hated. When I was a kid we used to go to unassigned territory for the day on Sunday and then at 5 pm have the meeting in that territory as a kid it took my whole Sunday and I absolutely hated it. I would much rather have played ball or rode my bike. stuck in

  Why I no longer believe the Bible is "God's Word" and I no longer believe in "God"

  i became a christain at the age of 9. not by going to a church or asking a preacher to baptize me, or anything like that.

  i started reading my mother's king james bible cover to cover at the age of 8. my father was very abusive and when he was abusing me, i would close my eyes and pray.

  i never hated my father, which is one good thing i got out of prayer.. when i turned 13 i became a lay preacher and traveled, on my own, preaching in any church that would let me.. when i was 15 i studied with the jws and was baptized after four months of study.. i was a zealous christain but not a zealous jw, according to them.

  Yes It is true all of the myths are essentially the same and truth be know the world needs them, the desire to live without myths has brought about the lives we all see today in the news. That said I beleive that we all have to live our own lives. We are the center of our universe and God is in us. This is the only life we have live it to the fullest and do what we want to do. There may be another life to come but it will not be this one. Be kind to others be loving to others. If all were to live their lives this way the world would be a better place but not in the way JWs say. Religion is just as ol RUTHERFORD SAID "A SNARE AND A RACKET" and the Watchtower is the worst of the worst.They promote hate not love, they destroy lives all in the name of religion and a false God.

  Since all must do what they want in life ie be religious, be athiest it is their choice do it. For these reasons I have given up trying to get my wife to leave the Watchtower that is her life I do not want it for me but I love her and will until the end. If she wants me I will be the best I can to her.

  I am now happy and look forward to the rest of my life. stuck in

  How true lifeisgood. Recently I have been doing research on the bible. I have been reading about myths. It is easilly seen that in any of the other religious writings that they all have the same stories to be told almost word for word. That and the fact that the Catholic church chose the New Testament books. Therefore how can it be as 2 Tim 3:16 says, they are not all inspired by God. Maybe there are other books of the bible that historians , more like the catholics didn't want us to have for that would change their religion and perhaps identify who Jehovah really is? stuck in

  Yes I pioneered through the Vietnam war. As has been said it was the only way to get a 4D. It was a real pia but at the time I was very much a beleiver and would have done anything for them. stuck in

  As he drank his first coffee of the day Andrew thought back to his younger days and how he wished then that he had children. But that is a distant and lost memory now. Oh wait im talking about me. F them is what I say they will get whats coming..

  By the way I showed this to someone in the hall recently because they didn't beleive me since it's not on their precious cd library. The elder said that they need to be strong like that now to save the young. I thought WTF you really are brain dead aren't you. stuck in
